Q) How does one go from being the island guy in Trinidad and Tobago to being a Real Estate Agent in New York?
A) Success has no limitation, regardless of where you come from. I’ve always believed that once you can dream it, you can achieve it. I always have big dreams, my determination and diligence helped me to persevere through it all, this is only the beginning…
Q) New York’s real estate industry can chew you up and spit you out, how are you staying motivated?
A) In everything you do you must have the reason why you’re doing it . My why, is my wife and kids. So as a result there is no room for failure , every mistake is a lesson learned, making me persistent in attaining success …..
Q) What has been your biggest challenge thus far?
A) My greatest challenge has been familiarizing myself with the areas I’m required to work in, which can affect the effectiveness of my services provided. Thank God for the evolution of technology. I’m assisted by the GPS and a few other apps. As I said failure is not an option!!!
Q) How do you separate yourself from other agents?
A) In terms of what separates me from other agents..I would say it’s my warm island personality, my professionalism and my tendency to prioritize my clients satisfaction at any legitimate cost !!!
Q) What advice would you give to entrepreneurs back home in Trinidad and Tobago?
A) Putting God first, the sky is the limit and we hold our own success in our hands, so don’t doubt that inner voice that says you can, simply create your own opportunities and press forward!!!
